Novalis Discussion Mailing List

Novalis, the pen name of Friedrich von Hardenberg, is an 18th Century German Romanticist, is a writer whose popularity remains strong in the circles who know of him. A favorite of many authors and artists, his work still has only been partially translated into English. Novalis was a polymath who was a brilliant philosopher as well as poet and novelist. This all encompassing understanding of art and science led the Surrealist painter Max Ernst to call Novalis one of his all time favorite writers.

There are now two Novalis mailing lists. We have decided to do things this way to take advantage of the growing popularity of Yahoo Groups. A Yahoo Group is Yahoo's name for mailing discussion lists. For personal reasons, some people however do not want to join Yahoo groups. To do so takes signing up and getting a Yahoo e-mail address (which is a good thing to have in these days of Spam).

Below is the information for both groups. The account held at eskimo.com has about thirty members.

Yahoo Subscribers:

Novalis List existing since mid-1990's at Eskimo.com:

Join the Novalis Mailing list!

Simply click on the above and mail the letter to join. Put subscribe in the title line and keep the message body blank.

I will try to keep both lists informed of important discussions.
