I am a polyartist (artist who works in more than one media) as well as a theorist and business owner.
(1985) Finished two manuscripts "Motivated for the Cause" and "The Virtue Manifestoes."
Motivated for the Cause is a 159 page anti-novel. The title is a double entendre meaning the motivation for the cause of art and virtue and the motivation for finding out what was the cause of the creation of Earth. The Virtue Manifestoes is a 79 page group of art manifestoes and related writings on the early form of Virtuism.
(1985 to Present) -- Founded Creative Virtue Press. Published a small magazine and self-published chapbook editions of writings.
(1987) Bachelor's Degree from Western Washington University in English Composition with emphasis of studies in historical alchemy, linguistics and French Surrealism including independent study.
(1992) Founded ParaMind Brainstorming Software. Created versions of configurable brainstorming software product in Windows, Mac and Linux. Created one of the first web pages in Yahoo. Product received a four star rating from Ziff Davis and endorsement on Inc. Magazine's website.
(1992-1995) Worked for three years during crunch period in the Fund Development department of downtown YWCA, one of Seattle Washington's largest social agencies. Was part of successful team that broke the Guinness Book of World Records for largest pile of coins.
(1998-1999) Studied computer programming at the community college level.
(1998-1999) Studied antique dealership in the Hamptons on Long Island, NY, with personal friend who is an
antique dealer in general antiques with specialty in listed paintings. Started selling rare books under
Mildred Mandeville, author of the Mandeville Guide, one of the earliest of the modern collections of rare book prices and information. Sold 16th century books for her.
(2000 to Present) Continues to sell used and rare books while running the ParaMind company, composing classical music, and writing books on psychology, computer-generated
writing and spirituality and the arts.
